This policy explains what personal data MRCS28 collects, why we use it, and your rights. The data controller is Carolina Alvim Roup Rosa, trading as MRCS28, a sole trader based in England. You can contact us at support@mrcsa.co.uk.

  • Your name and email address when you sign up.
  • Payment information, collected and processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Basic usage data, such as which lessons you open, collected through the website platform.

2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To give you access to the courses and run your subscription. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • To send you service messages about your account. Basis: performance of our contract.
  • To send newsletters or course updates where you have signed up for them. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the service secure and to improve it. Basis: our legitimate interests.

3. Who processes data for us

We use trusted providers who act as our processors and only use your data to provide their service to us:

  • Ghost, which hosts the website and stores member accounts.
  • Stripe, which processes payments.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved for UK data transfers.

5. How we keep it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to reduce the risk. If a breach affects your rights, we will act as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting duties, then delete it.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict some processing, and receive a copy of the data you gave us. To exercise any right, email support@mrcsa.co.uk.

8. Marketing

We only send newsletters to people who have opted in. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

9. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies to run member logins, and may use limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to help first.
